A big thanks  to everyone that turned up yesterday. It was a brilliant evening and a shame that others could not make it.
Special thanks goes to Jane for organising the evening. She has “volunteered” to organise next years, 2004, Xmas Dinner provisionally set for the last weekend before Xmas, i.e. 18 December 2004.
Another mention to Tony N for organising the fun awards for the evening. The results will be published on the main site as well as photos for the evening. Philippe G donated a few prizes for the awards but we could not get them to the dinner on time before he travelled. We will sort them out later.
Next meet will be in January. More details soon. Keep an eye on the Latest news page of the website.

HI everyone , just to say thanks to Jane and chris for organising the event. It was nice to meet everyone and meet some new faces. Will send the pics to sean unedited, so he can post them.

What a great night Saturday was, me and Sue really enjoyed ourseves.
Thanks to Jane and Chris for organising such a superb night, (loved the bombs!).
Well done Tony and Chris for sorting the awards, I haven't laughed so much for ages  even when me and Rugrat won the award for VERBAL DIOHOREA, how did that happen ?
The wallplanners are superb, pride of place on my wall next to my award.
It was great for everyone to get together, set us up for a fantastic Christmas and an even better 2004.
Gotta do it some more.

Totally agree saturday was a very good night, good to see you all at least i know your faces now even if I didn't get a chance to speak to you......also thanks to Chris and Jane for organising the do, that comes from Matt, Sasha and Jennie too.

Guys, what can I say? Firstly, sorry I couldn't get down to the award evening. A number of excuses, all of them lame: couldn't get a dog sitter, had to be in Nottingham by 11am on Sunday morning - no chance with a hangover, etc.
Thanks for the award - I know I came second in the novice championship but I wasn't really expecting to get this as I've not been the most active member on the web site and it's easy for people to forget about you. However, it means a lot to me this - as much as my championship trophy - because it is a recognition from fellow riders and club supporters on what I have achieved.
Anyway, the prep for next year is underway - suspension sorted properly, new front master cylinder, bodywork all rubbed down ready for painting. Just got to get the engine refreshed and jobs a good 'un.

Just like to add Jane and I had a great time Saturday night 
(but I did not have such a good time at 8.00 am Sunday when I had to go out running !!! )
When Jane started to plan it we thought perhaps half a dozen people might come along, as we are all spread all over the country and with such short notice.
We were amazed at the final count of 29 people, many more wanting to come but already had made other arrangements running up to Christmas. I can only say "sorry"  we left it so late to organize, the GSR 04 party will be planned a lot earlier !!
I believe the party was a success, just like the whole club is, due to the efforts of all the members,
and if history repeats it’s self in 2004 the club as a whole will be even bigger and better.
Would also like to say thanks to you all for making 2003 with GSR so enjoyable.

A big thankyou to Jane and Chris for getting the Gostar party up and running. Julie and myself had a great time. It was great to meet up away from the race tracks, chilling out enjoying good food, drinks, and chatting.
The pub was really nice and easy to find too as i had to travel up from Ashford in Kent. We were booked into a nice hotel only just over a mile from the pub. It could not have been any better.
I would also like to thank Chris and co who have put in a lot of hard work in producing a great Gostar calendar.
