Ian Porter
started his motorcycle racing career on a Honda
CBR600 back in
September 1994. Short of cash, the red Honda CBR600 doubled up as both road and race
bike. He later replaced it with a Kawasaki ZXR
400 which he had some success with.
Ian Porter then raced in the National Aprila RS250 challenge during the 2001
season but the transition from 4 stroke to 2 stroke engines was not
successful.
He has now gotten a Yamaha YZF R1 for the 2002 MRO Super stock
championships season. Read more about it on
his web site.
